By using the website or the tools published by AI Exponent LLC, you accept these terms together with the full Legal Notices and the Privacy Policy, which are incorporated by reference. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
2. Open source software
All AiExponent open source software is distributed under the Apache License, Version 2.0. The software is provided on an "AS IS" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, either express or implied. You are solely responsible for determining the appropriateness of using or redistributing the software and assume any risks associated with your exercise of permissions under the license. The operative terms for each repository are the Apache 2.0 text in that repository's LICENSE file.
3. No legal advice, no conformity assessment
AiExponent is a technology company, not a law firm. Nothing on this website, in our tools, or in the output produced by our tools constitutes legal advice, and no use of them creates an attorney-client relationship. Our tools generate documentary evidence that supports compliance workflows; they do not perform conformity assessment under Article 43 of the EU AI Act and cannot substitute for review by a notified body where one is required. "AiExponent" and the AiExponent product names and logo are trade names or trademarks of AI Exponent LLC. Website content is copyright © AI Exponent LLC and is published for informational use; please contact us for reuse beyond fair use. Full detail is in Legal Notices §6.
5. Commercial Sigil platform
Use of the commercial Sigil platform is governed by a separate commercial agreement provided at the time of subscription. These Terms of Use do not vary that agreement.
6. Governing law
These Terms of Use are governed by United States federal law and the law of the State of Wyoming, the U.S. state in which AI Exponent LLC is organised, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full force. This mirrors Legal Notices §9.
